The Teaching Staff positions encompass both Teacher and Teacher Assistant roles within our educational institution. As a member of the Teaching Staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children. Your primary duties will include planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering positive relationships with children and families, observing and assessing children's progress, maintaining safe and engaging classroom environments, and promoting school readiness goals. Additionally, you will be expected to support children with diverse abilities, communicate regularly with families, maintain classroom records and documentation, participate in professional development activities, and ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and licensing regulations.
Bachelor's or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education for the Teacher position (or as required by Head Start)
CDA Credential or willingness to obtain one within the required timeframe for the Teacher Assistant position
