Reports to: Head of School Position: Member of the Leadership Team Primary Focus: Plans and implements technology schoolwide.
Responsibilities:
Information Technology and Data Management
Provides guidance to the School Administration on the implementation of technology and data management strategies.
Evaluates current software, prepares for future software purchases, license renewals, and future implementations.
Oversees and maintains the student information system (Rediker) and Google for Education Workspace.
Coordinates and manages the school’s databases, ensuring smooth operation and integration with other school systems.
Coordinates extraction, submission, and maintenance of data reporting and compliance needs.
Hardware and Software Maintenance
Installs and maintains student, faculty, and classroom Apple devices, with a strong focus on Apple products and tools (e.g., Jamf School).
Performs all functions and procedures necessary to install and maintain the school's technology systems (hardware, software, and related peripherals).
Assists with the planning, design, and installation of future technology system expansions.
Coordinates and maintains all technology-related vendor relationships.
Provides technology support as needed, including troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
Training and Support of Faculty, Staff & Students in the Use of Technology
Provides training and ongoing support to ensure teachers are proficient in integrating technology into their classrooms.
Oversees student and faculty use and training with the school LMS (PlusPortals).
Offers advice and implementation assistance to the administration in utilizing technology effectively.
Educates students on the safe and responsible use of school devices and platforms.
Provides leadership in the exploration and ethical implementation of Artificial Intelligence, training faculty on AI-driven pedagogical tools and supporting students in developing essential AI literacy for a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Middle School STEM Program Instructor
Plans, prepares and teaches the Middle School STEM Classes (3 hours / week).
Develops engaging STEM curricula that inspire curiosity and exploration.
Administers and evaluates formative and summative assessments to measure student progress.
Communicates regularly with students, parents, and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Provides support to students, addressing their strengths and challenges. Fosters a culture of inquiry and collaboration in the classroom.
Video Creation and Multimedia
Provides support for video creation and management, including recording, editing, and distributing school-related videos and multimedia projects.
School Website
Collaborates with the Marketing department on website changes and updates as needed.
Provides support in the ongoing development and implementation of the school’s website, as needed.
Other Responsibilities
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required or preferred:
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Apple devices, including management via Jamf School.
Excellent working knowledge of both Mac OS and Windows (including Windows XP and Win7).
Experience with Rediker (or similar student information systems) and Google for Education Workspace.
Knowledge of modern web technologies and languages.
Familiarity with educational technology trends and tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Pedagogical background and/or experience in an educational setting is preferred.
Knowledge of STEM best practices and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
3 years of teaching experience is a plus.
Fluent in French is a plus but not necessary.
