Capitol Hill Day School seeks a long-term Spanish substitute teacher. Capitol Hill Day School offers Spanish classes to students beginning in their pre-kindergarten year and continuing through 8th grade. Our language instruction is proficiency-based with a strong emphasis in comprehensible input. This is an interim position, opening at the end of September 2026 and running through February 2027, resulting from a family leave vacancy.
Requirements
Spanish proficiency is essential. Master’s degree and/or extensive language teaching experience; understanding of child development preferred.
