The School in Rose Valley (SRV) is always looking for per diem Substitute Teachers. This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the oldest progressive schools in the United States and be part of a collaborative and supportive community. When permanent positions open, we often hire candidates that began in a substitute position.

Qualified candidates will have at least a bachelor's degree, successful teaching experience, and a strong knowledge of child development and early childhood and/or elementary education. Ideal candidates will have experience in progressive education. The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public is essential.
