Purpose Statement The Lower School Math Specialist is a dynamic instructional leader who brings joyful, rigorous, and creative math learning to all K–5 students. In addition to working closely in support of students, this educator collaborates with teachers to strengthen instruction across the division—integrating real-world problem solving, growth mindset practices, and data-informed strategies that help students build confidence, curiosity, and deep conceptual understanding. The Math Specialist also leads professional learning for faculty, models effective teaching practices, and contributes to a shared vision for math education that grows with our students.
