Position Title: AfterCare Provider FLSA Classification: Nonexempt/Seasonal Reports To: After-School Program Director Position Purpose: Provide afterschool supervision for students.

We are seeking an AfterCare provider for our after-school program. The position starts in late August 2021 and will go through the end of the school year in mid-June 2022.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain after-school rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
Provide supervision and guidance for students that promote healthy relationships.
Work with after-school program director to create and implement an AfterCare program based on student interests.
Attend meetings and trainings as required.
Perform general maintenance and cleaning of after-school facilities at the end of each workday.
Monitor use of all computers (school or personal) for inappropriate material.
Monitor use of personal cell phones for inappropriate language or activity.
Supervise student work.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid high school diploma or equivalent.
Completed or currently enrolled in a child development or related field of study at college level, preferred
Have a current TB test.
Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.
Must have 2 years of experience in a similar job with students ages 5-15.
Must have a Live Scan Fingerprinting test and clear a background check.
Must be able to show up on time.
Must be able to communicate clearly and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and their families.
Must be able to follow directions as well as take initiative.
Must have demonstrated abilities to supervise and guide children ranging in age from 5 to 15 years old.
Must have a ready smile and enjoy working with youth.
Must be responsible, calm, and assertive while supervising children ages 5-15 years old, setting strong boundaries regarding their safety, wellbeing, and interactions with other students.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Regularly sit, talk, hear, and visually intercept visitors.
Be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
Regularly use close and distance vision.
Turn, bend, and reach, and occasionally use a ladder.
Work in a traditional climate-controlled office environment.
