The Department of Child and Family Development (CFD) at San Diego State University seeks applicants for a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position. The position will begin Fall 2022. Applicants must hold an earned doctorate by Fall 2022 in Family Studies, Child Development, Human Development and Family Science, Psychology (Developmental Psychology), Sociology, Social Work, Education, or a closely related social science field. The CFD department represents an interdisciplinary field of study with the basic assumption that development takes place across the lifespan in the context of the family, community, and public policy.
