SFDPH Behavioral Health Services operates a network of clinics that offers a wide range of mental health and substance use services that are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of San Franciscans.
We serve San Franciscans (adults, children, youth, and their families) regardless of immigration status who are in need of mental health and substance use care and have low incomes, are uninsured, and/or qualify for Medi-Cal.
Services are available in languages such as English, Spanish, Chinese, and more.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school and the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
EXPERIENCE: Six (6) months (1,000 hours) of social work experience in a health care setting. This experience may be gained during the Master's in Social Work (MSW) program or from post-graduate social work experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of current valid licensures' issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for either:
