Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and child development.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Foster communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Provide individualized support for children
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom strategies.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classroom and outdoor activities.

Education

• Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or state equivalent in Early Childhood Education required.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
• For Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher roles, a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the above fields is required at minimum, in accordance with Bright from the Start guidelines.
• Must meet all credentialing and qualification standards required by state and program regulations.
• Additional certifications or endorsements in early childhood education are a plus.
• Georgia teaching certification or eligibility for certification preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 40 per week

• Experience with developmental assessments, curriculum implementation, and family engagement strategies.
