Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and child development.
Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
Foster communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
Provide individualized support for children
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom strategies.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classroom and outdoor activities.
Education
Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or state equivalent in Early Childhood Education required.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
For Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher roles, a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the above fields is required at minimum, in accordance with Bright from the Start guidelines.
Must meet all credentialing and qualification standards required by state and program regulations.
Additional certifications or endorsements in early childhood education are a plus.
Georgia teaching certification or eligibility for certification preferred.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 per week
Experience with developmental assessments, curriculum implementation, and family engagement strategies.
