MaineHealth has Registered Nurse Manager career opportunities to help lead our behavioral health care teams at Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook, ME:

• Nurse Manager (RN) - Inpatient Coed Adolescent Psychiatric Unit
• Nurse Manager (RN) - Child Behavioral Health Unit

Summary:

The Nurse Manager assists the Director in the coordination, supervision, and management of all personnel and patient care activities of the unit and in the successful operation of the hospital and network at large.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited Nursing program required. RNC preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
3. Experience: 2+ years of psychiatric nursing or comparable experience preferred.
4. Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
5. Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice and judgment.
6. Demonstrate effective communication skills.
