We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd Grade Self-Contained Classroom Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in elementary education principles, with a focus on creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. Responsibilities include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum, assessing student progress, maintaining a positive classroom culture, and fostering a love for learning. The 2nd Grade Teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support the academic and social-emotional growth of every student.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in working with children. A Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field is required, along with relevant teaching experience. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of child development and differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment are essential.

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field, Masters Preferred
