Clayton County Community Services Authority seeks a passionate, strategic, and results-driven Head Start Early Head Start Director to lead our Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Clayton and Rockdale Counties. The Head Start Early Head Start Director will be responsible for the comprehensive management, planning, and oversight of all operational, educational, and compliance functions to ensure exceptional outcomes for children and families. The total number of enrolled children is 479.  This is an executive level position; supervised by the executive director of the agency. 

This role demands an experienced, mission-aligned leader with a proven record in early childhood program administration, team leadership, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will champion educational equity, drive operational excellence, and cultivate collaborative community relationships. Ideal candidate  will have been responsible for uploading PIR data, working with grant and program specialist at OHS, strategic planning for an entire program, and ensuring CACFP regulatory compliance, budgeting and grant writing. 

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience leading large early childhood education programs.
• Proven experience managing Head Start/Early Head Start grants and partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, fiscal management, and administrative operations.
