Boston Children’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is actively looking for child and adolescent psychiatrists to join our team as we collectively improve the mental health of children and families throughout Massachusetts and beyond. The Department is grounded in a vision to build an integrated continuum of care through innovation in collaborative care, evidence-based specialty psychiatry services, consolidated and expanded services research, training of the next generation, and shared commitment to child mental health advocacy (https://www.childrenshospital.org/departments/psychiatry).
We are seeking a part to full-time child & adolescent psychiatrist committed to providing diagnostic and treatment services in our Outpatient Psychiatry Services. This position will be part of the outpatient clinic of our affiliate, Franciscan Children’s Hospital, located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston.This is an opportunity to join a growing clinic, where all psychiatry patients are shared with a skilled team of pediatric psychologists and social workers. This is an ideal position for a physician seeking to join a thriving academic collaborative community of mental health professionals across multiple fields and to facilitate the training of the next generation of mental health providers. Candidates with strong interests in health equity, culturally responsive practices and interventions, the social determinants of health, and the care of significant childhood psychiatric conditions are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applicants for this position must be board eligible/certified in general and child/adolescent psychiatry. This position will include a Harvard Medical School appointment as a Lecturer, Part-Time, dependent on experience and qualifications.
