The Department of Pediatrics at East Tennessee State University seeks a full-time Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician who is board certified in pediatrics with fellowship training in developmental-behavioral or neurodevelopmental pediatrics and is board-eligible or board certified in the respective specialty. Open rank depending upon qualifications and experience. This is a clinical track appointment.

Responsibilities include the development of a month-long required rotation for pediatric residents in developmental pediatrics, ambulatory clinic work, and academic pursuits. Collaborative efforts with established ETSU programs in behavior/child development are strongly encouraged.

ETSU Pediatrics promotes an innovative and inter-professional culture and has been recognized as a patient-centered medical home with distinction in behavioral health integration. Opportunities exist for building an inter-professional developmental behavioral pediatrics program.

Quillen College of Medicine is consistently ranked nationally among rural colleges of medicine. ETSU is surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountains and is located in Johnson City, Tennessee, which contributes to a metropolitan statistical area of 500,000 residents.
