The ideal candidate is engaging, patient, and adept at implementing innovative teaching methods. They should be an enthusiastic and creative early childhood teacher passionate about fostering a learning environment that sparks curiosity and wonder.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education (graduate preferred)
- Minimum of two years of related teaching experience in an early childhood setting
- Deep understanding of child development
- A high level of energy and initiative
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment in which children can develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
- Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning needs
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess and document children’s progress
- Communicate student progress with families through teacher-led conferences and report card writing
- Update the classroom webpage with photos, links, and weekly newsletters
- Engage with the Early Childhood Director, Learning Specialist, and homeroom teachers during weekly grade-level meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues by actively attending and engaging in faculty and department meetings

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $60,000 - 100,000
