Congressional School is seeking an English Teacher to teach fifth and sixth grades for the 2025-2026 academic year. The English Teacher is responsible for providing an effective learning environment through planning, organizing, developing, and assessing a comprehensive instructional program for fifth and sixth grade students. The English Teacher is knowledgeable about the cognitive and social-emotional development of children this age and possesses a firm understanding of the English Language, specifically in the areas of writing, reading comprehension and a firm understanding of age appropriate literature.
