Spanish Teacher
Under the supervision of the Head of School, Redwood's Spanish Teacher is responsible for teaching Spanish language to students in grades K-8. The Spanish Teacher is responsible for providing an effective learning environment through planning, organizing, developing, and assessing a comprehensive instructional Spanish program for children in Preschool through Eighth Grade. The Spanish Teacher is knowledgeable about the cognitive and social-emotional development of children in these age groups and possesses a firm understanding of and the ability to teach Spanish language and culture. Further, it is expected the Spanish teacher will work with the remainder of the school staff, faculty, and community.
