Under general supervision, guided by the policies and procedures of UCSF, the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) and ZSFG 6M Children's Center; and in the collaboration of the physician, staff, and administrative management, the Pediatric Clinical Nurse works independently to coordinate the clinical care of patients being evaluated at the ZSFG Multidisciplinary Assessment Center (MDAC) in 6M Children's Health Center. MDAC provides comprehensive evaluations for infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children and kids up to age 23. While children of all ages are evaluated at MDAC, the primary focus for the Pediatric Clinical Nurse are children ages 0-5 years. The Pediatric Clinical Nurse is a key member of the clinical team.
