SLAHP Project Coordinator
Job Location SLAHP Main Office - Inglewood, CA Description of Duties: • Provides breastfeeding/chestfeeding education and support to breastfeeding/chestfeeding parents with complex situations or concerns following established protocols. • Provides breastfeeding/chestfeeding counseling and education to high-risk Breastfeeding Program participants referred by WIC staff, including Breastfeeding Peer Counselors, WIC Nutrition Assistants, or Registered Dietitians/Degreed Nutritionists. • Performs nutrition and health assessments of participants utilizing breastfeeding/chestfeeding services and family members enrolled in the WIC Program. • Reinforces hospital-based IBCLC care plans when available from Healthcare Providers
