We are seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic Daycare Worker to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will support the emotional, social, and developmental needs of children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons
Help with feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap routines
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
Encourage positive behavior and social interaction among children
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about daily activities and any concerns
Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Support lead teachers/aid and other staff as needed
Attend required staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; CDA or early childhood coursework preferred
Prior experience in a licensed daycare or preschool setting is a plus
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
May require bending, sitting on the floor, and standing for extended periods
Indoor and outdoor supervision in various weather conditions
