Position Summary: We are seeking dynamic, dedicated, and highly skilled Lower School Teachers to join our faculty. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic educators who bring creativity, energy, and warmth to the classroom. These teachers will be responsible for cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment, differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and working collaboratively with colleagues and families.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in core subject areas (language arts, math, social studies, and science).
Foster a classroom environment that reflects respect, empathy, and a sense of belonging.
Implement school-adopted curriculum and instructional best practices.
Utilize assessments and data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and families.
Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues.
Collaborate with grade-level and specialty teachers, learning support, and administration.
Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings.
Uphold the school’s mission, values, and community standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification preferred.
2 years of lead teaching experience in a lower school classroom preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of child development and best practices in elementary education.
Experience with Orton-Gillingham Literacy practices and Singapore Math is beneficial.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Comfort with technology integration in the classroom.
A positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
