At Enrichment Services Program, we believe strong families are the key to creating thriving communities. This is why we offer family-strengthening services to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. By working together with parents, grandparents, children, and all caregivers, we use the Two Generation/Whole Family Approach. This approach provides families with the tools and services to achieve economic mobility through case management services in order to achieve and develop their own goals.
Case management focused on family self-sufficiency is funded by the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG). CSBG is an antipoverty reduction program that was created to promote and provide an array of services and activities to encourage self-sufficiency and to make permanent improvements in the lives of families and individuals with low income.
How It Works
When services are integrated to meet the needs of parents and children together, efficiency is improved and outcomes are enhanced for parents, children, and families.
Early Childhood Education Services – The Early Head Start and Head Start programs help children under the age of 5 develop school readiness skills
Stabiliz...ation Services – Utility assistance, emergency services, food distribution and access to the community help individual families meet their basic needs
Employment Training – Scholarships for on the job training and classroom instruction stabilizes and promotes a pathway out of poverty to employment
