The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a part-time Outreach Coordinator to join the division of Women?s Mental Health in its establishment of the Center for the Transition to Parenthood (TtP). The Outreach Manager will play a key role over the first 5 years with respect to (1) networking with community partners, patients, advocates, institutions, (2) helping create informational content for parents and obstetrical providers and (3) establishing the Center?s identity and drawing attention to it. The ideal candidate will understand the research and clinical landscape regarding the transition to parenthood, help maintain the Center?s website and social media presence as well as team presentations on Center work.
Subject to business needs hybrid work arrangement may be supported and will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
Lead networking responsibilities with professional organizations, policy makers, advocates, civic leaders, perinatal providers across disciplines, community organizations, and patients with lived experiences for bi-directional communication and learning.
Organize 2-4 yearly, Zoom-based, think-tank sessions bringing together community organizations, professional organizations, policy makers, advocates, foundations to form effective collaborations.
Help carryout successful nation-wide engagement each year that results in adoption of educational materials and/or altered delivery of care and input to the Center from the perinatal care ecosystem.
Help create and manage content for the Center?s website.
Continue the landscaping project of available perinatal interventions to showcase on the Center website so website becomes go-to resource.
Work with communications experts to establish and lead social media identity for the Center (twitter, Tik Tok, Instagram).
Lead advertising and communication efforts for postdoc and faculty positions.
Collaborate with Center team to develop educational materials for obstetrical providers and parents.
Perform general administrative functions, and related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
Experience with leading projects.
Ability to travel within the US up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Master?s degree in communications.
Background in branding, messaging and/or prior creative role.
Engagement in/interest in women?s health/child development, SDOH.
Spanish speaker/reader a plus.
Highly collaborative in approach.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated adaptability to solve new challenges.
Communications (written, oral, and public speaking skills): speaks, writes, and presents clearly and is able to distill complex information for varying levels of understanding.
Teamwork: actively engages with peers and other team members to establish collaborative working relationships.
Proactivity: acts without being told what to do, brings new ideas to the organization, and incorporates feedback when appropriate.

Technical skills including PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, familiarity with video and audio.
