NYU Shanghaiis currently inviting applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full professor in Psychology. The candidate would join an active group of psychologists and build on our current strengths in psychotherapy and digital mental health, gender and sexuality, child development, and legal psychology. The candidate would be expected to develop innovative and exciting collaborations with faculty across the social sciences (e.g, global public health) and natural and computational sciences (particularly neuroscience, AI and big data). Candidates should be comfortable conducting research in interdisciplinary teams with scholars from diverse and complementary backgrounds.
Terms of employment at NYU Shanghai are comparable to NYU New York and other U.S. institutions with respect to research start-up funds and compensation, and they include housing subsidies and educational subsidies for children. Faculty may in certain cases have the opportunity to spend time at NYU New York and other sites of the NYU Global Network, engaging in both research and teaching.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a vibrant research community housed in the NYU Shanghai Social Sciences Area and its research centers.
