In the role of the lower school classroom teacher, you will be responsible for teaching several different subjects daily including language arts, math, social studies, and science, while assessing group and individual progress. You will also adjust lessons to enrich, challenge, and support your student’s individual needs and progression. In addition, you will formally communicate student progress multiple times of the year through written reports, checklists, and parent conferences. You will also be responsible for supervising your students in the class, on the playground, in the lunchroom, and during school arrival and dismissal times daily.
