We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Director to lead our thriving preschool program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood development, a proven track record of success in managing and motivating staff, and a commitment to creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for our young learners.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and management of the preschool program, including:
Continually enhance the current early childhood curriculum, and establish continuity from year to year.
Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling
Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations and adherence to the school’s mission
Speak eloquently and passionately to parents, teachers, students, and prospective parents as the public face of the early childhood program.
Communicate with all constituents regularly and transparently
Have and communicate a clear vision for the early childhood program
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of early childhood educators, including:
Provide ongoing training and meaningful professional development opportunities
Conduct regular performance evaluations and visiting classrooms on a regular basis
Create a healthy, supportive, collaborative, professional culture
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents
Collaborate with community partners to expand the preschool's reach and impact
Collaborate with other school leaders in an effort to maximize retention and help the school strive for excellence in all areas.

Qualifications:
Advanced studies in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferable
5+ years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage and motivate staff
Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children
