The Buckley School, an all-boys K-9 school located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, seeks outstanding, enthusiastic After School teaching assistants, who love working with children. Our students are 5-12 year old boys and our activity-based program currently runs Mondays through Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are looking to grow our program and there will be the possibility for Friday hours as we expand.
This is a wonderful opportunity with potential to grow your skills, experience, responsibilities, and hours and pay, within a supportive, team-oriented work environment. This is also a great opportunity for a former teacher!
The teaching assistants will support and collaborate with the Director of After School and Auxiliary Programs to provide a high quality After School experience for students and families. Our After School program, called OverTime, builds upon and enhances the daily curriculum. We offer a variety of exciting classes that encourage learning and play, while maintaining the Buckley community standards and Codes of Conduct.
Partner with colleagues in providing positivity, support, supervision, and classroom management to ensure the safety and needs of the children are being met at all times.

Current offerings include yoga, arts and crafts, robotics, coding, chess, origami. We look forward to you bringing your talents to our program offerings.
