To plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum within the guidelines and philosophy of Oakland University's School of Education. To supervise student employees, practicum students, volunteers, student teachers and interns in the classroom.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Child Development; Early Childhood Education or closely related field or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Minimum of one year experience working with children under six in a high quality early learning setting; preferably NAEYC accredited.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Child Development; Early Childhood Education or closely related field.
Knowledge and experience working with High/Scope, Project Based Learning or Reggio Inspired curriculum.
Prior experience working in a Campus-based Early Childhood Laboratory setting.
Experience working in an inclusive and diverse educational setting.
College coursework or training in Infant Toddler Development.
