UNC Horizons is a perinatal/maternal substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program in the OB-GYN Department at the University of North Carolina. This program provides comprehensive substance use outpatient and residential treatment for pregnant women and women with children in Orange and Wake Counties in NC. This position will be located at the Horizons office in Carrboro, NC. The Horizons site in Carrboro provides outpatient SUD treatment, including SACOT, SAIOP, and traditional outpatient services. Horizons also runs its own OB/GYN, psychiatry and pediatric clinics in Carrboro, and its own licensed child development center.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide group treatment services to the women in the SACOT and SAIOP programs in Carrboro, and to provide case management and individual support services in the Perinatal Program and outpatient programs.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.
