Position: We are currently seeking a part time special education/resource teacher for grades 4 - 8 for the 2023-24 academic year. This position would focus on remediation in math, ELA, and some English as a Second Language.

Experience and Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; advanced degree(s) preferable, not required
Teaching certification required, special education certification a plus.
Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of special education.
Experience working with children in grades 4 - 8.
Participate as a member of the student support team.
Develop, implement and monitor individual action plans by setting appropriate goals and objectives
A solid understanding of child development, varied learning styles, and effective strategies for dealing with such differences
