BHK seeks an individual to act as the third adult in the classroom (part-time, schoolyear), providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

• Under direction of the teacher, classroom aide supports management of the classroom and activities for children (placements in infant/toddler or preschool classrooms based on individual’s preference)
• Guide and support children during class activities, meals/snack, and rest time
• Support effective individualized lesson plans and group experiences for children of all abilities.

Looking for energetic, dependable individual who enjoys working with young children and:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willing to complete 24 hours of annual training.
