This position reports to the Director of the Community Leadership Center (CLC) and focuses on three main areas: (1) support for the research and dissemination function of the CLC; (2) develops protocols for data collection and evaluation for all programs under the CLC; (3) participate in the development of grant proposals; and (4) support in a leading role, the development and execution of special academic projects, collaborations with campus faculty around research, conferences, university partnerships and joint ventures. Successful candidates will thrive on open collaboration and intellectual curiosity, will operate both independently and with a team, and will have a flexible approach to challenges in a fast-paced, creative and scholarly environment. The successful candidate will also possess excellent qualitative and quantitative skills and proficiency with data programs, and research design for applied areas such as Birth-12 educational pipeline development, urban community development, youth and child development, among others.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master's degree required; an advanced degree in a social science or education field is preferred (ABD status also considered). An additional 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
