Abington Friends Lower School seeks a full-time Lower School Art Teacher. The Art Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, working with students and families, and collaborating with colleagues to create an inviting, stimulating, and safe learning environment. The Lower School Art Teacher will be an educator who is creative and flexible and recognizes the unique gifts and talents inherent in each child. The Abington Friends Lower School is a learning environment of joy, wonder, challenge and reflection with a strong sense of community.
Applicants must have:
Lower School teaching experience
An understanding of child development
Ability to differentiate learning
Strong communication skills
