Job Summary: The Early Interventionist Developmental Specialist provides assessment and intervention services and strategies to assist in fostering the growth and development of children, birth through age three.  Work is usually performed within the family’s home or within natural settings in the community designed to directly involve parents in providing family-oriented, developmental and behavioral opportunities for their children.  The Developmental Specialist works as a key member of the transdisciplinary team to meet the educational goals of children served by PIC.
