Child Life Specialist
Position Summary:   The Child Life Specialist is responsible for providing patient care services for infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, and their families. Foster and encourage emotional well-being, cognitive developmental opportunities for young patients and their families. Promotes a family centered care that reduces stress, helps with coping, provides activities to normalize and encourage social interaction. Supports developmental integrity through play experiences by creating a safe environment. Orients hospital staff of the psychosocial needs of children and their families and fosters positive hospital community relations.     Essential Functions:
