In service to the Penn Charter Summer Camps, a Counselor-In-Training (CIT) must have a strong work ethic, exhibit a willingness to work with children, possess maturity and flexibility, and model curiosity and excitement. Additionally, they must demonstrate a desired commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in their service and in building relationships. CIT’s will train directly with a lead counselor to implement and execute camp programming. The goal of the program is to develop leadership skills that can be used throughout life, including an ability to lead and teach children.
