Renbrook School (West Hartford, CT), an independent day school for children age three to grade eight, seeks an experienced educator to teach middle school mathematics (pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Algebra II) and, if qualified, serve as Mathematics Department Chair. The most qualified candidate will have experience with elementary and middle school mathematics, and preferably have a background in the Singapore Mathematics curriculum. Candidates with experience at one level or the other and a willingness to learn will also be considered. In its current layout, the Department Chair teaches a reduced load and oversees the Upper School (grades five-eight) math program. However, planning to incorporate the kindergarten through grade four program in its future formulation is underway. T
