The Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) Coach/Specialist will provide evidence-based coaching / technical assistance to South Carolina school district teams that have participated in the SEIT Academy. The SEIT Coach/Specialist will build the capacity of South Carolina school district teams to help ensure the special education itinerant model is being implemented to fidelity. This includes providing coaching/technical assistance to school district teams to support the implementation of their school district special education itinerant teacher action plans. The SEIT Coach/Specialist will also provide additional professional development supports to school districts in areas that promote the establishment and/or enhancement of special education itinerant services such as itinerant instruction, social-emotional development, and community partnerships.

The SEIT Coach/Specialist will provide on-site and virtual support, including training and coaching, to teachers, administrators, and staff in school districts and their community partners to increase the use of evidence-based practices and promote early childhood special education itinerant services as outlined in our project scope of work.
The SEIT Coach/Specialist will develop and curate professional development materials related to early childhood evidence-based practices to execute deliverables included in the scope of work for our project.
In accordance with internal policies related to data collection, SEIT Coach/Specialist will provide management of assigned duties, including correspondence and timely reporting of data collected to describe how the activities in the scope of work are implemented.
The SEIT Coach/Specialist will facilitate the development and maintenance of collaborative relationships with others involved in supporting special education itinerant services in early childhood settings to meet the scope of work for our project.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree and 4 years training and development experience, or bachelor's degree and 6 years training and development experience.
