The Center on the Ecology of Early Development (CEED) is a new early childhood policy research center within Wheelock College of Education and Human Development. The mission of the center is to conduct applied equity-focused research to inspire policy leaders and practitioners to cultivate opportunities that optimize Black childrens wellbeing and ability to thrive. CEED is presently comprised of a small group of researchers who work collaboratively on projects that range in topic from early language and literacy development, the development of classroom measures for sociocultural equity, and health and education equity.
