The Enrollment & Data Manager performs a variety of computer system operation and administrative support functions for office support and the student records system in the Aggie Academy. The purpose of this position is to input and maintain accurate data regarding school attendance, demographics, enrollment, withdrawals, along with various other types of information required by the district and the state's department of education and instruction. The general areas of oversight include managing the core systems of the lab school, collecting data from administration and teachers, generating key reporting and managing statutory reporting and census. The Enrollment & Data Manager creates, manages and supports the data input and record keeping of staff and student data through the provision of custom reports. The Enrollment & Data Manager will organize, coordinate and schedule a variety of office activities to assist the school administration with tasks, prepare and accurately maintain a variety of reports, records, and files relating to students, operations, and activities.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit:
Aggie Academy is a NC A&T Laboratory School established under the North Carolina General Statute Chapter 116, Article 29A (116-239.5), to improve student performance by providing an enhanced education program for students residing in low performing schools. The mission of Aggie Academy is to provide students a culturally responsive and sustaining integrated STEAM Education experience to improve student achievement and develop critical and creative thinking skills. Aggie Academy will serve up to 100 students, with a teacher-student ratio of 1:15 for grades 3-5, and provide students and families a spectrum of support services to comprehensively address academic, social-emotional, physical needs. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in related field and 2-4 years of relative experience. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Ability to exercise intendent judgment in correction data errors or omissions.
