You will meet with students in small groups who are at similar levels of ability or interest in reading and writing. In the 2022 – 2023 school year, this position will work with 5- to 9-year-olds of varying abilities. You will work with up to sixteen students at a time. Responsibilities include small group instruction in reading, writing, and speaking. Responsibilities also include student supervision, parent communication, student assessment and feedback, one-on-one student support, and intervention planning as needed. You will be responsible for creating new resources and routines, and revising them as needed. You will also have input into the curriculum development, which currently draws from Lucy Calkins, Read, Write, Inc, and more. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head
