Learning Guide (Autonomy Level 3) or 4th grade teacher
Red Bridge does not group students by grade level, but by Autonomy Level. Each Autonomy Level spans about three years of age difference. This position is for Autonomy Level III, which generally includes 7- to 10-year-olds. You will work with up to twelve students at a time. Responsibilities in the school’s early years will include small group instruction in core subjects, SEL lessons, work habits instruction, and design of project-based learning experiences. Responsibilities also include student supervision, parent communication, student assessment, and feedback. As our first ever Autonomy Level III teacher you will be creating new resources and routines and revising them as necessary. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of School.
