Job Duties: Early Intervention Specialists are responsible for providing eligibility evaluations using standardized testing methods; conducting developmental assessments for the purposes of program planning; preparing reports of results with suggested strategies which respond to the goals and priorities of the family; consultation/teaching within area of expertise with families, providers, and service coordinators relative to the outcomes and activities agreed upon on the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP); and direct therapeutic interventions with children and caregivers within specialty areas when a CDSA network provider is unable to meet the needs as outlined on the IFSP.
