Create, implement and facilitate a comprehensive program for infant and toddler children (0-3) including developmentally appropriate curriculum that is relationship based, child driven and provides on-going developmental assessment within a team of primary caregivers. Safe, engaging and exploratory learning environment. Maintain on-going dialogue and collaboration with families to support children's optimum development. Provide leadership and mentoring support for teaching team, part-time staff, substitutes and volunteers.
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Early/Childhood / Child Development; Three years full time equivalent experience with preschool populations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Knowledge of NAEYC accreditation criteria, knowledge of HighScope curriculum; experience with infant and/or toddler age children, experience as a lead teacher; effective interpersonal skills.
