The Data Systems Analyst II (DSA II) will join a devoted and enthusiastic team of scientists, working in an internationally recognized team to evaluate environmental exposures during pregnancy and effects on child development. Working as a member of the data management team, the DSA II will assist in the collection and management of data from a variety of research studies and data sources. While much of our data is collected via REDCap electronic surveys, we also have paper surveys, biological samples (hair, fingernails, blood, and urine) and cognitive development data collected via specialized software.
This position will involve data management tasks such as developing reports to monitor ongoing data quality and collaborating with the research team to clean data and address data quality issues. Other tasks will include using SAS to create edit checks, datasets, calculated fields, analytical datasets, and data summary reports. The DSA II will use REDCap to create and maintain study tracking databases, data collection forms, and data management systems. In addition, the DSA II will be responsible for mapping data from various sources, creating harmonized and integrated data files, and uploading files to National Institutes of Health (NIH) central study website.
