Posting Summary: This position will coordinate and communicate information amongst the family providers across the state of Tennessee. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities *Provides formal training and technical assistance to Family/Group educators to improve the quality of childcare *Assist with planning and teaching TECTA Orientation throughout TECTA site service delivery area using the statewide TECTA curriculum for Family and Group Home Providers *Collaborates with local early care and education programs, professional organizations, community agencies, businesses, industries, and families ensuring that the training and education needs of state-regulated family/group home programs are fully met *Provides technical assistance, model teaching and/or consultation to family childcare providers *Maintains all program data and documentation *Compiles and submit accurate reports in a timely manner and in compliance with contract stipulations *Participates actively in family early childhood professional organizations *Maintains knowledge, staying abreast of current literature and research related to child development, the childcare field and childcare workforce *Provides support to family and group childcare providers, family, group childcare organizations *Partners with agencies through committee memberships, conference presentations, technical assistance and related special projects at the local, state, and national level, obtaining accountability status, and knowledge of trends and changes as it relates to the state QRIS *Performs other related duties as assigned
