Job Title: Head Coach (Atlanta Studio)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Job Type: Full-time (Non Clinical OT)
Reports To: Atlanta Studio Manager
Significant Responsibilities of the position:
Direct, hands-on running of classes for all age groups (3-10 years old) utilizing pre-designed 50-minute classes (designed by Occupational Therapists, DIR Floortime Specialists, and child development specialists).
Build meaningful and trusting relationships with all members. Regular in-person and written communication with parents regarding their children’s performance in the program.
Part of the studio Leadership Team responsible for the successful operation of the Atlanta Kidvantage studio. You will participate in key administrative processes and have an important voice in management decisions.
Supervises the Coaching staff (consisting of occupational therapists) working at the Kidvantage Atlanta studio.
Evaluates the Coaching staff performance; recruits/hires other full-time & part-time OT trained coaches to fill staff vacancies.
Effective delegation of responsibilities allowing Coaching staff members to grow professionally.
Coordinates access to the Kidvantage class-training program for the coaching staff.
Meet regularly with the OT Advisor Team to provide feedback/insight on the class curriculum, and coach training program.
Maintains various team records including attendance records for staff; assigns duties to staff; guides coaching staff with their responsibilities.
Provides liaison between the Kidvantage studio and other Atlanta OT/DIR community organizations.
Job Requirements and expectations:
Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current state of Georgia license.
Three years of increasing responsibility/experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist (Pediatric). The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of pediatric therapeutic techniques, activities and equipment used in occupational therapy work.
Experience supervising the work of other occupational therapists.
Experience managing relationships with parent clients.
Customer service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport and highly effective relationships with others.
Skilled at communicating complex OT information in a concise, easily understood manner, both in-person and in writing in different settings.
Excellent time management skills. Can work under pressure while maintaining positive composure.
Occasionally opening/closing the studio.
Assist with cleaning up the class areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Travel is not a requirement of this position. All work will be performed at the Atlanta studio.

Kidvantage is a private membership program open to all children in Atlanta, Georgia. Parents enroll their kids for membership which is paid monthly. The monthly membership is $109/month for the child to attend one class per week. Members can cancelthe membership at any time.
The core Kidvantage service consists of 50-minute classes conducted at our new flagship studio in Atlanta, Georgia. Each class is designed by our OT Advisory Team to include a balanced development approach integrated into the class games. The member children attend one class per week as part of their membership.

Kidvantage helps parents develop confident kids.
• We are an all-inclusive development program for kids 3-10 years old.
• Our play-based group classes range from 10-12 children with 1-2 Coaches dependent on age.
• Each class is designed by an OT Advisory Team to include a combination of physical, cognitive, sensory and social-emotional experiences integrated into our class games. (The Advisory Team includes members with advanced STAR and DIR Floortime training.)
• We are proud of our strategic partnership with the Temple University Occupational Therapy Program.
• Parents sign up for a monthly membership to the program and choose a weekly class that suits their schedule. Their children attend that weekly class for the duration of their monthly membership (typically one to two years).
