About The Institute on Development and Disability (IDD) Link https://www.ohsu.edu/institute-on-development-and-disability/about-us The Institute on Development and Disability within the Department of Pediatrics at OHSU works with patients, families, clinicians, researchers and many other professionals to meet the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities. We perform research and care to support every patient, from premature babies to older adults, facing changes in life due to the onset of disabling conditions. With more than 100 years of practice, we understand how to best meet the needs of our patients and their families in Oregon and beyond. About CDRC Eugene Link https://www.ohsu.edu/doernbecher/CDRC Eugene The Eugene campus of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center provides interdisciplinary clinical services for persons with developmental disabilities and other special health care needs. CDRC Eugene programs and services are provided at the Clinical Services Building on the University of Oregon campus. The purpose of this position is to provide Physical Therapy assessment and treatment services to children with suspect and diagnosed developmental disabilities, neuromuscular and orthopedic impairments, and special health care needs at the Eugene office of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center/Oregon Health and Science University. The individual in this position may provide indirect educational experiences to pre-physical therapy students, special education, communication disorders and sciences, and psychology students from the University of Oregon and direct training for Physical Therapy Interns who are completing requirements for Licensure or Certification. Located at the CDRC Eugene clinic location on the University of Oregon campus.
