Posting Summary: Coaches using strategies designed to build a Family Child Care Mentor's or protege capacity for specific professional dispositions, skills and behaviors that are focused on goal setting, and achievements for individuals or group activities.
Maintains and reports on collected data.
Performs other job related duties as required or assigned. by the Family Child Care Network Manager in coordination with TECTA Assistant Director of Family Child Care Network in a relationship based process as an expert with specialized and adult learning knowledge and skills.
Maintains and builds sustainable relationships with licensed family child care providers and will be expected to have an understanding of State licensing regulations.
Facilitates trainings and must maintain knowledge in child development and familiar with adult learning practices. Must have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret policies and procedures, and to manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of rules and
governing guidelines that support Family Child Care. This position must be familiar with and understand the following laws and documents that govern child care in the state of
Tennessee: State Child Care Licensure Rules, Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale.

These are field positions located in geographical locations across lower TN East, Middle, and West-Shelby County. Travel will be required by candidates.
