The Healthier Beginnings Program at the University of Tennessee at Martin is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time (100%) Program Supervisor (TANF Program Expansion Program Supervisor). The Program Supervisor functions as a team leader ensuring quality program services are provided for families in the service area following the Healthy Families America (HFA) home visiting model. The program supervisor is under the direct supervision of the UT Martin Child and Family Program Director.
This regular, full-time (100%) position is grant-funded and continuation of employment is dependent upon grant funding.
Essential Job Functions:

• Assures grant compliance as directed by the TN Department of Health and the University of Tennessee/UT Martin.
• Assures compliance with HFA policies and procedures maintaining all documentation required to maintain accreditation status.
• Completes/maintains all required Healthy Families America supervisor training.
• Works as a team member with the grant director and other program supervisors to maintain program policy, monitor program outcomes, demonstrate, and provide leadership and support for the grant programs.
• Attends meetings, conference calls, webinars, conferences, and trainings as required by UT Martin, TN Department of Health, and/or Healthy Families America which includes in-state and out-of-state travel.
• Supervises staff through reflective supervision providing support, guidance and training as needed following HFA guidelines. Monitors all required documentation to ensure documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
• Meets monthly with grant director for reflective supervision, monitoring of program outcomes, service delivery, and grant expenditures.
• Maintain knowledge of maternal-infant health and dynamics of child abuse and neglect.
• Maintain knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment.
• Serves as a liaison to the community. Collaborates with community organizations and agencies by attending Community Advisory Board/Healthy Council meetings, health fairs, and other community/agency events.
